More than 60 works have been shown this Friday, January 12 during the presentation of the exhibition "Road to Cyprus". The works of the 22 winning countries can already be seen in the Cultural Area of the English Court of "the City of Palms" in Alicante. The theme "Looking at the stars", collects different points of view of the small authors who have participated in the contest. The same Alicante, has to be the seat of the famous Florida school, which in the past year 2000 won the first prize in a previous edition of the School Peace and Cooperation Award.

Most of these works were awarded on October 20, 2017 in Vienna, at The United Nations, proceeding from excellent academies of fine arts, such as the School of Creativity of Hong Kong, the Kanoon of Tehran or the Cedart of Mexico. In turn, you can see the poster of the Chinese artist Wong Tsz Mei, winner of the Yuri Gagarin extraordinary prize.

The ceremony began with the words of Mr. Joaquín Antuña, President and Founder of Peace and Cooperation, who presented the event thanking the collaboration of the different attendees, including Dª. Crislan Pastor, in charge of Cultural Area for her excellent work in the organization and presentation of the different exhibited works, highlighting the participation of the embassies of Cyprus and Thailand, as well as the City of Alicante. It is the sixth time that Peace and Cooperation begins his activities in the English Court of Alicante.

The Business Manager of the Embassy of Cyprus, H.E. Cristina Tzika, says that "children from all over the world looked at the stars in various ways, from Earth, from spacecraft, from satellites and from their little hearts, they created what they have before you today". He added that, "The Cypriot City of Pafos will host the award ceremony of the Peace and Cooperation School Prize 2018" Galaxy of Peace-The Common Heritage Space of Humanity ", convened by UNOOSA, the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs , and the Peace and Cooperation Foundation.

The Ambassador of Thailand, H.E. Ms. Rattikul Chansuriya, commented that "the theme of this award seems very successful because it allows young people to promote peace and the welfare of humanity , at the same time that they benefit from the most advanced technology, specifically, the spatial one ". In addition, Thailand will host with Peace and Cooperation a world student contest during the next 2019 with "Road to Bangkok".

The councilman of the City of Alicante, Mr. D. Joaquín Manresa Balboa, said that "we must be very proud to receive this exhibition and I hope that next year we will be here again", highlighted the excellent work done by Peace and Cooperation and had words of praise for its President.

The event was also attended by The Russian Prince H. R. & I. H. Jorge Rurikovich, H.E. Juan Francisco Coronatti Bolaños, Attorney Sir. Carlos Uriarte, President Paneuropa Juventud, Lawyer Enrique Vila Torres and "The Travel Club PERIPLOS" of Alicante, among others. The attendees offered an excellent Spanish cava from Catalonia for the cities of Alicante, Bangkok and Pafos, which they are associated with this school initiative of UNOOSA and Peace and Cooperation with the valuable support of the Permanent Representation of Spain in Vienna.

For six years, the Cultural Area of the English Court of Alicante hosts the "Paths of Peace and Cooperation" that conclude the international school campaigns that this Madrid organization carries out within the United Nations with the support of the diplomatic world.
